About Dr. Tyrone Girod M.D.
Dr. Girod graduated from Cecelia High School, Cecelia, Louisiana in 1968. He went on to obtain his B.S in Chemistry from U.S.L. Lafayette, LA in June of 1976, soon to be followed with his M.D from L.S.U Medical in New Orleans, Louisiana in the June of 1976.
Dr. Girod then entered into an Internal Medicine Internship with Earl K. Long Hosp. in Baton Rouge, LA, from June 1976 to May 1977.
From then he began his Residency in the same hospital, Earl K. Long, from June 1977 to Jan. 1979.
He began his own private practice in Baton Rouge, LA from 1979 to the present day, granting him 46 years of experience not only in the field, but also with the lovely Baton Rouge community.
Dr. Tyrone Girod is both a member of the Baton Rouge Medical Society and the LA State Medical Society, making him a beacon of healthcare in the community.
